Making Christmas Cookies

We found a book called "The Holly Jolly Christmas" at the Methodist church Christmas festival.  It cost us all of twenty cents.  It is only five pages long.  It has been one of Julia's favorite.  She had mama and daddy sing it over and over.  It goes something like this "Its a holly jolly Christmas, we decorate with cheer.  We bake Christmas cookies, soon Santa will be here..."  When we started baking, Julia knew.  Santa will soon be here.

Daddy and Julia worked with the cookie cutters while mama was making colored icing.

Someon is eating the dough!!!  No dough!!  No dough!!  You can have a cookie when it is cooked.
Julia playing a game with mama.
Daddy back to work.  What is Julia doing?  I guess she needed to take her socks off to be able to cut cookies better.  Makes sense to me??
OH, NO!!  This is not looking good.  Trying to explain how to make them.  She is wanting the icing.
We said she could have a cooked cookie.  Just not like this!
 So happy!!
Wow!!  Julia was tired after all that cookie decorating.

The end result...We have a couple cookies for Santa.  We will share with our family and friends.

After a long bath and some lotion, Julia shows baby total love.  This baby just makes her happy.  She gets so excited to see her and hold her.
 Friends forever.
