First Thanksgiving: The Cabin

For the last three years, my family has been renting a cabin in Pigeon Forge, TN for Thanksgiving weekend.  This year was especially awesome.  We booked this cabin last February hoping that Julia would be home by then.  It was so exciting to think that she was going to be there when we found out about our April referral.   My family picked out a huge yard for the kids.

Well, here it goes.  Julia explored the yard with her cousins.

The yard was not only huge but a hill.  Julia is listening to the rules of the soccer game.

She had enough.  Julia went on to explore.

Daddy was cutting wood to make a fire for later on during the weekend.  Lounging on the back of the truck.
Thanskgiving was extra speical this year.  Pappy celebrated his birthday on the same day.  I guess you could aslo say that Thatnksgiving fell on Pappy's birthday.  We had a party for three days,

Pappy had a yummy cake.  He also opened his presents.
Unc played games with Julia.  She was so high on his shoulders.
A little pool anyone?
Julia's baby needed some rest.

What a beautiful Thanksfiving feast!
Playing doggie after dinner.

A little tea party before bed.  We have so much to be thankful for this year!!!

Looks like you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving. It's so great to see Julia enjoying herself so much. My goodness how your lives have changed since you booked this cabin in February.
