Dim Sum Celebration

Most of you know that we have been taking Chinese(Mandarin for Parents) since the first of the year. We now have completed our class. Now, I have to say that we will not be carrying on major conversations with anyone but we do know a few words to help us communicate. Ya Ya was our teacher. (middle) She was extremely patient. I don't how to she did it. Lily was also our teacher. We missed you!!! Frank coordinated the class(right). He is holding our class's first child named Susan. Is she just not cute as can be? Her mama and baba are standing next to Frank. Susan's parents (Andy and Nancy) hosted our dim sum party. It was so nice. Standing by me, was the most outstanding student, Dan. That is the award he got. He said that he drove an hour back and forth from work. That listening to the CDs really worked for him. My excuse was that I only live ten minutes from work. Next to me, is Trena and her husband. We missed Kelly and Mike. They were still on vacation. Unforutantely, Jeff also had to miss it. He had a previous engagement. This group got pretty tight meeting on Saturdays from 12p-2p at the Chinese Christian Church. I cannot wait to continue to follow everyone's journey.
